Mani Bläuel Organic Tomato Paste is made from Greek traditionally sun-dried tomatoes combined with fruity extra virgin olive oil and seasoned with a touch of basil and a drop of delicious Kalamata balsamic vinegar. Packed in the Mani region in southern Peloponnese and produced from sun-dried tomatoes grown on Euboea, the second biggest island of Greece, this exquisite Greek meze has a mildly spicy taste.
This aromatic delicacy is perfect as an appetizer on toasted bread, or when added to sauces, or enjoyed with Feta cheese. An ideal spread to enjoy with lunch. The word "meze" means "taste" and/or "snack." Mezes are a big part of the dining experience not only in Greece, but throughout Eastern Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Arab countries.
